Hosted in Columbia, South Carolina, the Gala serves as the Foundation’s premier fundraising event, dedicated to raising scholarship funds for high-achieving, college-bound students and supporting leadership and mentoring programs that shape South Carolina’s youth. Guests can look forward to an unforgettable evening filled with dining, dancing, live entertainment, and inspirational moments as we honor those who give and celebrate the students whose futures shine brighter because of your generosity.

About Our Gala
Guests at the Gala enjoy an unforgettable evening of networking, dining, dancing, and inspiration, all while coming together to invest in the future of South Carolina’s youth. The event features inspiring speakers, scholarship presentations, community recognitions, and live entertainment that unite civic leaders, businesses, alumni, and community champions under one mission: empowering the next generation through education and mentorship.
The Gala has earned a reputation as one of the Capital City’s most respected, high-energy annual events, drawing over 450 attendees who believe in the power of education, service, and hope.
Since our founding in 1967, the Alpha Psi Lambda Foundation has awarded over $30,000 in scholarships and created life-changing opportunities through leadership development, mentorship, and academic support. This year, we plan to make it even bigger, bolder, and more impactful. we invite you to join us as a partner in transforming opportunities for young people across our state.
